Volunteer Archivist , Borough Green, Kent

We are looking to appoint a part-time Archivist to be responsible for providing a service in archival research relevant to the work of OMF International (UK). This is a voluntary position which involves working from our National Office in Borough Green between 4 and 16 hours per week, depending on demand. This position reports to the Communications Manager.

This is a great opportunity to work for a 150-year-old organisation, managing the archive system, responding to internal and external enquiries, and widening access to the OMF and CIM history. The successful applicant will have curatorial skills of selecting, arranging and cataloguing archives, and will have an active interest in the mission work of OMF and CIM. Appropriate training would be provided, and OMF would reimburse any travel costs incurred in getting to and from the office each day if requested.
For more information or to register your interest in this position contact David Perkins
(hro@omf.org.uk / 01732 887299).

Volunteers should be in full sympathy with the aims and objectives of OMF International as an evangelical mission serving the East Asian church.
