Not Healed? God Can Still Teach and Use Us

08/04/2010 8:40 am OMF Thailand <th-itSPAMFILTER@omf.net>

"If we pray to be healed but God hasn't healed us yet, we shouldn't complain to God, 'Why haven't you healed me?'

That's the wrong question. We should ask Him, ' What do you want me to learn at this time, in this situation, Lord?" Peya, sitting in his wheelchair, shared with stroke sufferer Aunty Chaliaw, sitting with her walking stick by her one good hand. Peya continued, "I'm in a wheelchair, but I can still serve God. You can too. The way to start serving Him is to pray!" Peya should know. He has written his testimony of how he came to be paralyzed from his waist down, and how he struggled to find God’s joy in acceptance and service. This testimony is now a booklet published by OMF Publishers. Recently, Peya attended the dedication of the new facilities for the Publishers to sign copies of his book. God is using Peya and his life story to bring hope to others. (Kim Robertson, Church planting, Suphanburi Province)

  • Please pray for Aunty Chaliaw to grow in her faith and for God to heal her from the inside out
  • Pray for the booklet by Peya to be widely read, and bring many to understand faith in Jesus Christ
  • Pray for Peya’s ministry of encouragement as he travels with the church-planters in Suphanburi
