God is answering prayer for more workers for OMF Thailand

This month 8 new workers joined OMF Thailand to begin Thai language study. One new worker has written, “When faced with the uncertainties of what the next years will be like, I do get a little bit nervous (wondering how I will go with language study, being culturally sensitive, making local friends, etc.). At these times I need to remember that even amid these uncertainties God remains constant, generous and faithful…an example of God’s recent care and provision is that my room mate at Orientation Course in Singapore is also my house mate in Thailand while I am at language school. She has already spent two years in Thailand and will be a great help to me as I settle into life in Thailand.”
- Please pray that these new workers will settle quickly into their new homes in Thailand, and have both physical and emotional energy during this busy time.
- Pray that the language and culture training of all will help them to communicate well and in culturally appropriate ways.
- Pray for 80 more workers by 2011 for Thailand. (So far, 20 new workers have joined OMF Thailand since the call for 100 went out.)
