Building Bridges into Unreached Communities

The goal of OMF in Taiwan is to bring the gospel into the most unreached segments of society, to establish healthy, multiplying churches amongst these people. The starting point of most ministries is building bridges into these communities to create opportunities to share the gospel. This article looks at the wide variety of methods missionaries use to build these bridges.
Taiwan or China?

When thinking about ministry to Chinese people we immediately consider the needs of Mainland China. However, Taiwan is also a Chinese society of over 23 million people with great needs for the gospel and tremendous opportunities for service.

Reaching the Working Class

Less than 0.3% of the working class in Taiwan are reached with the gospel of Christ despite the fact that the working class are the majority of the population (60-70%) of Taiwan.

What is so different about the working class lifestyle that makes current church structures not effective?
